As the lead Web Developer at Ideal Positions, Austyn’s roles include web and graphic design and technical support. Austyn has over 8 years of experience building custom websites and has worked with a wide range of clients. Her specialty is building WordPress sites. She is also a Shopify Partner and is Google Analytics certified.
At Ideal Positions, Austyn is responsible for producing high-quality frontend designs using the latest web standards and coding practices, all of which have a strong emphasis on user experience and branding. Whether she is trying new CSS techniques or testing a design on various browsers, Austyn is always looking at new and innovative ways of making websites solve problems for their owners and their users.

Ideal Positions has been in the search engine marketing industry almost since the origin of search engine marketing—so we’re pretty experienced. And we’ve gone through a lot of changes. Today, Ideal Positions is a much more refined version of the company we were 10 years ago. We’ve evolved.
How do you help create excellent customer service for clients?
I want to make sure your website is helping your business, not holding it back. I enjoy solving problems for clients. I have an ongoing relationship with a lot of our clients who give me a call or shoot me an email whenever they need some help with their site.
What motivates you at work?
People who are excited about their new website or who are excited about what their new site does for them. Happy clients motivate me. Also, coffee.
Why do you enjoy working at Ideal Positions?
We treat each other like family, and that’s how we try to treat our clients too. I look forward to coming to work everyday because of the environment here at our office.
Tell us about your current or past passions outside of work?
I like adventuring with my dogs and checking out new places. I’ve been doing a lot of home restoration stuff this past year, which has been pretty fun and challenging. But building websites and learning about web technologies is one of favorite things, even if I’m not at work.
State a “pie-in-the-sky” dream/goal/hope of yours?
I’d like to go see the northern lights.
